Terms & Conditions — Smart Click Seva Mobile App

These Terms are specific to the Smart Click Seva mobile app on Android and iOS. For terms governing our website and administrative (Seva Partner) platform, see our general Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your download, installation, and use of the Smart Click Seva mobile app ("the App"), operated by SmartClick Technologies Pvt. Limited ("Smart Click Seva", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Mobile App Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the App, or use it with the assistance of a parent or guardian for a service that permits it (for example, a birth certificate application).

3. Description of Service

The App lets you discover authorized, independently operated service centers ("Seva Partners") and apply for government-to-citizen (G2C) services (such as identity documents and certificates) and business-to-citizen (B2C) services (such as bill payments and financial services). Smart Click Seva itself does not issue government documents or certificates — these are issued by the relevant government department; the App and its Seva Partners facilitate submission, tracking, and delivery.

4. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

5. Device Permissions

The App requests certain device permissions (camera/photo library, location, notifications, and — if you enable App Lock — your device's own biometric or screen lock) to provide its features, as described in full in our Mobile App Privacy Policy. You may decline or later revoke any permission from your device Settings; doing so may limit or disable the related feature.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and genuine information and documents when applying for a service through the App. Submitting false information or fraudulent documents may result in rejection of your application and, where applicable, referral to the relevant authorities. You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the App's minimum operating-system and hardware requirements.

7. Fees & Payments

Each service in the App displays its applicable service fee and, where relevant, the government fee charged by the issuing authority. Government fees are collected on behalf of, and remitted to, the relevant government department and are not retained by Smart Click Seva. All payments are processed through Razorpay; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.

8. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account on the App. Notify us immediately at support@smartclickseva.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

9. Push Notifications

The App may send you push notifications about your application status, payments, and important announcements. You can turn these off at any time in your device's notification settings; doing so will not affect your ability to use the rest of the App, but you may miss timely updates about your applications.

10. App Updates & Availability

We may release updates to the App from time to time to add features, improve performance, or fix issues, and may require you to update to the latest version to continue using certain features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App, and availability may depend on your device, operating system, and network connectivity, as well as the Google Play Store's or Apple App Store's own availability.

11. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services — Razorpay for payments, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, and Google Sign-In if you choose to sign in with your Google account — each governed by its own terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.

12. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of SmartClick Technologies Pvt. Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our prior written consent.

13. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information or documents; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, our systems, or other users' accounts; interfere with or disrupt the App's operation; or use any automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Smart Click Seva and SmartClick Technologies Pvt. Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including delays or denials of government services by the issuing authority, which remain outside our control. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the service fee paid for the specific application giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Smart Click Seva, SmartClick Technologies Pvt. Limited, and their officers and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the App, or submission of false or fraudulent information.

16. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required to do so by law. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device and, if you wish, requesting deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
